काल सुट्टी / वेळ असल्याने काहीतरी चटपटीत आणि झटपट होणारं (फार वेळ न खाणारं) करू म्हणून नेट सर्फिंग केलं तेव्हा पोह्याचे कटलेट सापडले. साहित्याचा अंदाज घेतला तेंव्हा बरेचसे साहित्य घरात आहे अस लक्षात आलं. पोहा कटलेटच्या रेसिपी ढिगाने नेटवर सापडतील . कोणतीही रेसिपी फॉलो करू शकता. मी दोन तीन रेसीपी बघून शॉर्टकट मारला.
Yesterday, as it was a holiday / time, I was surfing the net to do something spicy (and of course would not take a long time for preparation). Internet suggested "Poha Cutlet". Then i had figured out about ingredients and realized that most of the ingredients were available. I read two / three recipes and took shortcut.
So here is the recipe :
First boil potatoes and peel them. Soak Poha, drain the water and set aside for 5 minutes. Now mix the boiled potato pulp in that poha. Mix turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala, chaat masala, ginger garlic paste, black pepper powder, salt, cilantro, carrot (optional). Knead the pulp well and make small balls as per your liking.
Mix the prepared balls in a mixture of corn flour and breadcrumbs, respectively. Shallow / deep fry as you like in the pan. You can also bake in the oven. Serve with sauce or chutney. I had mint chutney and these cutlets went well with it.
